Knowles Wedding

I’m listening to The Killers (slightly obsessed with Mr. Brightside at the moment) and editing photos from the Holtrop-Knowles wedding.  Mostly what I’ve managed to do today is move the best photos to a separate folder for future editing.  With a political science class starting tomorrow, the remaining 150 pages of Lolita to read before book club, and my day job, it’ll probably take me about two weeks to complete the wedding photos.

I realize I’m also seriously behind on reading everyone’s blogs, which seems to be a common occurence since Spring.  I need to come up with a schedule so that, let’s say, every Saturday morning before I do anything else, I cycle through my subscriptions.

They exchange a look...too cute not to post!

  1. We are in the same boat! I know you can do it, and they already look amazing!

I’m (obviously) a little behind myself which is part of the reason why I’ve adopted the “Try to get up before Sofia” philosophy which, actually, seems to be working.

    1. And I don’t even have a Sophia, so what’s my excuse Sherry? My plan of getting up on Saturday did not work at all. Lol. I need to try something else. I think I just get overwhelmed because there are so many different blogs I want to read and just don’t know where to start.

I really like these so far, Jolene! Beautiful bokeh on the first and I love the serious expression on the kids’ faces. I want desperately to get more weddings under my belt.

    1. Thank you! This is my 3rd wedding now, and unfortunately we are at the end of wedding season so it’ll probably be a while before I get more practice. Anything in the winter will be indoors anyway, and the lighting would be a nightmare. I prefer outdoor weddings by far.

  4. That last photo is priceless! Wonder what they’re thinking? “We have to hold hands – really?!”

    1. They were a bit hesitant for sure. One of my favorites. 🙂

  5. Gorgeous photos! And good luck getting everything done! 🙂

    1. Thank you! It took me about two weeks, but I finished. Yikes.
