I love WordPress for many reasons, not the least of which is all the interesting people it puts me in contact with. One particular new cyber friend is Michael Bonocore, who specializes in HDR photography in San Francisco. I chatted with him via Skype, asking for photo advice this afternoon, as I edited this bird picture.
Also – I posted this to torment David Williams. I know it bothers him that birds like me more than him. Muhahahaha. Just kidding. Love ya, coffee buddy!!
Great capture!
Nice, I know that place…but there were no birds when I was there.
They knew you were coming, David…
Hey, I love your new header. I am so behind in my comments, sorry.
This picture is just beautiful, and very inviting. I’m sure David will be inspired. 🙂
Thanks, Heather…and no worries. This is a busy time of year!
That’s hilarious, Nigel! Laughing at my desk right now!!
Poor David, I remember him competing in a bird comp and the only bird he could find was dead 😀
hahaha, nice one Nigel…yes, the freakin birds are still not letting me capture a shot. Sigh.
Wow, what a wonderful capture. The details of each and every bird is amazing. Great !! ~ Maria
Thanks, Maria! Right place, right time for this one.
This is very nice. It’s really difficult to take good photos of birds. Especially ones that are in flight.
I like the way how the sun has highlighted bits of the birds. Without looking at the shadows on the ground, one instinctively knows where the sun is in the photo.
I had the advantage of knowing they were about to fly away, so I was able to adjust my shutter speed in time to get this. There was a family in a mini-van throwing bread at them. They were all lined up waiting for food until the van drove away and a dog came running through.
Great shot! The birds are definitely liking you.
Thanks! I just realized that as I was leaving you a comment on your NSH pics, you were leaving a comment over here for me! lol.
