I’m photographing something at The Hub and suddenly I hear, thump, thump, thump. I turn to see a group of joggers lead by a fascinating young man landing heavily on his bare feet. Clad in nothing but a black pair of shorts, I immediately dubbed him Bellingham’s Most Interesting Man of the Moment. There was something so raw, so fascinating about a barefoot runner. I didn’t catch him on his first pass, but on the return trip I tried to grab a snapshot. Not as clear as I would have liked, but so interesting I just can’t stand it!!
Camera: Canon 40d
Location: Somewhere on the interurban trail; Bellingham, Washington
Update: Yes. This was in color yesterday, but I didn’t like it. So, now you are getting it in B & W!
Hilarious!
I was hoping he would have seen the blog and given me some insights into what he was doing, but no such luck.
I hear it’s good for you, but I don’t know…I can’t imagine running on the gravel just up the road from there. Ouch!
Man, what would make someone run without shoes, and on pavement even? Oh well, nice shot. 😀
