I love Fridays, but unfortunately that means my coffee buddy David works from home, and I walk to Starbucks alone in the morning. Okay, it is true that there are plenty of other people to walk with, but it’s a routine. We talk about his kids or his fancy cameras, and I complain about my love life or rattle off ideas for my next writing project or series of photos.

Walking alone today gave me some time to reflect, and that is when I found this picture. The sun filtering through the trees just made me feel like all was good and right with the world.
