We had reasons to celebrate. Our dear friend, Karen, finally finished her first quarter back at school! Not lacking in ambition, she successfully completed THREE classes while also working full time! Unfortunately, I can’t celebrate my biology class as of yet due to the fact the final isn’t until Tuesday. However, next weekend promises to be a good one since it’s also my 33rd birthday.

The green concoction above is a grasshopper and Melissa’s drink of choice at Pad Thai. After a brief trip to Black Forest, Steven and I decided to do our own thing and ended up at The Black Cat. I snapped the second photo of him as he perused a magazine while waiting for me to finish taking pictures -like the big photo dork I have turned into.
